Guns are invading Japanese society silently. As represented by Ms. Yabuki's incident in 1995, the fear of guns is now terrifying us normal citizens who had been totally irrelevant to them. Nowadays, gun incidents are not the affairs of other people anymore.

We must increase concern and have a sense of crisis about gun crimes. Also, we need to have correct knowledge and recognition about guns and, most of all, a strong will that we will never carry guns.

From advocacy of "Association to Consider Firearms Eradication"

We need members who can work cooperatively with our members to manage our organization. We especially welcome the support of the baby-boomers who can participate in our social assistant activities mentioned below.

1. Group management activities conducted by those interested in public management.
2. Lobbying activities to eradicate fire arms.
3. Educational promotion activities to eradicate fire arms.
4. Assistance activities for the families of victims of crime involving fire arms.
5. Social worker training projects to eradicate fire arms.

Nowadays, guns have taken many precious lives throughout the world. Aiming to create a safe society without firearms and violent crimes, we have been taking an active part in enlightening people about how priceless human lives are and how horrible firearms and violent crimes are.
