私たちは、銃器犯罪を阻止するために活動しています。

米国では毎日9人の子供が銃犯罪で亡くなっている現実を知っていますか？
75人の大人が毎日全米50州のどこかの州で銃犯罪によって亡くなっている国だと知っていますか？
つまり、米国では17分ごとに銃犯罪で人が亡くなっているのです。
銃が人を殺しているのではありません。人が銃で人を殺しているのです。
私たちも例外ではなく、愛する子供を米国の銃犯罪に奪われた家族もいます。
しかし、銃が簡単に手に入らなければこんな事件は起こりません。
私たちは、他の誰よりも銃器への憧れを断つことの重要性を知っています。

一方、私たちの国「日本」は世界に誇る銃所持禁止国です。
それが最近10年間に10000丁の銃器が摘発され、300人近い人（内半数は銃犯罪の巻き添えになった市民）が亡くなっています。
近年は発砲事件、銃器の摘発件数は減少。暴力団が摘発を逃れるために潜在化の傾向にあるだけで危険が回避されたことではありません。
反面、秋葉原の無差別殺傷事件に見られる若いマニアの身勝手な犯罪の凶悪化、小中高生徒の暴力事件が急増しています。
私たちはそのたびにエアガン条例の改正、銃刀法の改正、海外射撃ツアー参加の自粛要請など、銃器への憧れ、安易に暴力に走る子供たちへの教育の重要性を訴えてきました。私たちは薬物、銃器、暴力犯罪の根絶のために警察庁をはじめ都道府県警や海外NGOとも連携し後述する諸々の社会活動を行っている唯一の団体です。

We work towards eradicating gun violence.

Do you know that in the United States, 9 children die due to gun violence every day?
Do you know that 75 adult are killed by crimes using firearms all over the U.S. every day?
That means that a person dies from gun violence every 17 minutes in America.
It is not that guns kill people but that people kill people using fire arms.
Without exception, among us there are families who have lost a loved one through gun violence. However, if people cannot get guns easily, such crime will never happen. We know more than anyone else about the importance of ending the obsession with fire arms.

In Japan, which boasts of being a nation banning fire arms, in this decade 10,000 fire arms have been detected and nearly 300 people have been killed by fire arms, half of them were general citizens involved gun violence. while Japan boast to the world of fire arms ban nation.
In recent years, the number of shooting incidents and gun revelations has decreased. But this is only because gangsters have gone into hidings to avoid capture and risk still exists.
On the other hand, crimes committed by young people are increasingly atrocious and the number of violent incidents involving elementary, junior high and high school students has risen sharply.
We have appealed for amendments to be made to the regulations on air guns, and the Swords and Firearms Control Law. We have urged the general public to refrain from joining overseas gun shooting ranges.
We have insisted on the importance of educating children who have an unhealthy interest in fire arms and easily resort to violence.
STOP GUN CARAVAN is an organization which provides social support activities to eradicate drugs, fire arms, and crimes of violence such as those referred to hereinafter by cooperating with the National Police Agency, prefectural police, and overseas NGO.
